Access Certified Records
Every message, call, request, and payment on AppClose is automatically time-stamped, encrypted, and stored in a system of record that users cannot alter or delete. AppClose records are designed for reliability and for use in U.S. family law courts and courts of general jurisdiction that handle family law matters.
Any U.S. user can generate unlimited Certified Electronic Business Records on the AppClose website. These are PDF exports made directly from the original stored records and certified as business records by AppClose’s Custodian of Records. Each export is also signed with the digital signature of AppClose, Inc., issued by a certificate authority on the Adobe Approved Trust List, together with a trusted timestamp. Without contacting AppClose, anyone who receives an export can open it in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader to confirm it came from AppClose and hasn’t been changed since it was signed.
Each export also carries a unique Export ID that ties a printed copy back to the electronic original. In AppClose Pro, entering an Export ID confirms that an export with that ID exists in the AppClose system. With your client’s consent, you can download that same stored export again. Entering an Export ID confirms the export exists but does not verify its contents.

AI Assistant
AppClose Pro includes an AI Assistant for family law professionals. It can summarize the records a client has chosen to share with you, answer your questions about them, and find material within them — only for the record types and dates your client selected, and only while your client’s authorization lasts. Client records and your prompts are processed by a third-party language model that keeps nothing beyond the request and does not train on it.
