Reliable, Court-Trusted Business Records - Every message, call, request, and payment on AppClose is automatically time-stamped, encrypted, and stored in a system of record that users cannot alter or delete. AppClose records are designed for reliability and for use in U.S. family law courts and courts of general jurisdiction that handle family law matters.
Any U.S. user can generate unlimited Certified Electronic Business Records on the AppClose website. These are PDF exports made directly from the original stored records, certified by AppClose’s Custodian of Records, and digitally signed by AppClose, Inc. Anyone who receives one can open it in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader to confirm it hasn’t been changed since it was signed. Each export also carries a unique Export ID that ties a printed copy back to the electronic original.
AppClose also certifies records by business records affidavit, at no charge, in response to a proper subpoena.
