AppClose users may download their own AppClose records at any time, but access to another parent’s private information, or any data not exportable from the app, requires a valid subpoena. AppClose complies with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, or other applicable procedural or substantive rules, but may accept out-of-state subpoenas not issued through a Texas court if certain conditions are met. Where personally identifiable information (PII) is requested, AppClose may require out-of-state subpoenas to be issued and served in accordance with FRCP Rule 45, or issued through a Texas court. Subpoenas may be sent to legal@appclose.com. Once all conditions are met, AppClose will decrypt the requested data and send it to the subpoena issuer.
