AppClose Pro for Legal Professionals
Tamper-proof records

Permanent records establish an objective account of communication and interactions between co‑parents. They offer an indisputable trail of evidence that can help attorneys resolve disputes and ensure fair and just resolutions in the best interests of clients and their children. While unchangeable records support the credibility of clients' claims, they also help reduce the time, effort, and legal expenses associated with navigating co‑parenting issues through the legal system. With a valid suppoena request, certified records, including messages, expenses, requests, check-ins, in-app sessions, and more can be obtained.

Court orders and subpoenas

AppClose users may download their own AppClose records at any time, but access to another parent’s private information, or any data not exportable from the app, requires a valid subpoena. AppClose complies with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, or other applicable procedural or substantive rules, but may accept out-of-state subpoenas not issued through a Texas court if certain conditions are met. Where personally identifiable information (PII) is requested, AppClose may require out-of-state subpoenas to be issued and served in accordance with FRCP Rule 45, or issued through a Texas court. Subpoenas may be sent to legal@appclose.com. Once all conditions are met, AppClose will decrypt the requested data and send it to the subpoena issuer. The data provided is based solely on the details outlined in the subpoena or court order.
